The future Auditorium and Congress Center Morro Jable (Fuerteventura), designed by architect Fernando Menis Canary Islands, is part of an exhibition on the most representative of Spanish architecture, the organization said in a statement.

The exhibition “City called Spain” was organized by Manuel White and is a project initiated by the Government of Spain through the Spanish Cultural Action (AC / E). After visiting Athens in 2010, the exhibition will travel to Moscow Central House of Artists from May 12 to July 17, 2011.

For its part, the Project and Exhibition Centre Auditorium of Morro Jable is the result of a public competition won Menis study in 2008.

Located in a privileged position above the southern beaches of Fuerteventura, the building was created by excavating and mimicry with the place. Textures, colors and finishes to achieve this objective, resulting in a building that looks like a stone in bulk and the ground game.

It is also building a sponge, able to adapt to different situations and events, flexible, with a balanced sound adapted to different types of activities for energy conservation and maintenance.
